Championship on programming
From 4th to 7th of December, 2015 a 20th semi-final of the world championship on programming among student teams took place.
The CIS countries, including Kyrgyzstan, are part of the North-Eastern European region (NEERC) since 1996. The organizer of the competition of the North-Eastern European region is St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (neerc.ifmo.ru). Currently, the semi-finals hold in late November - early December each year, simultaneously in real time using the Internet in St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg group), Barnaul (Siberia, Far East and some Central Asian group), Tbilisi (Caucasus group) and Tashkent ( Central Asian group). The winners of the semifinals are entitled to participate in the final of the World Team Championship on programming.

Our team took part in the competitions in the city of Barnaul. In general, throughout the region, there were 226 teams.
The opening of the Olympiad was on December 5, 2015. Teams were assigned to classrooms and conducted a trial tour. The main round was held on December 6. Five hours was given for twelve tasks. Closing ceremony, awarding certificates and prizes took place on December 7.
From Kyrgyzstan 6 teams have participated, each of which has presented its university (KSUCTA, AUCA KRSU, KSTU, Manas, Ata - Turk). All the teams, solving an equal number of tasks, showed the same result. As before, the team consisted of three students, who participated in the quarter-finals and took the first 7 places. Our team also consisted of 3 people: Beknazar Esenbek uulu, Baytakova Ayana, Mazurov Tologon.
Participating in international competition and rivalry with teams with a high level of training was a very valuable experience for us.
